"He is taking a break from everything in the U.S.," said a source in Malta who asked to remain anonymous. "We've been told he does not want to answer any questions about Charlie right now."
Sheen has been promoting his film, "The Way," which benefits an organization that helps those seeking asylum. It's about a father who traces his son's footsteps in Spain where he died in order to understand him better. Seems too close to home, doesn't it.
On the "Today" show, Charlie took some potshots at his father and brother, Emilio Estevez, after he was asked about a recent interview in which they expressed their concern for him.
"They tried. But I said, you know, I'm not ready, I'm not interested in your rhetoric right now," Charlie said. "I appreciate your love, your compassion, if that's what you wanna call it. But I'm 45 years old, and I'm not interested in people treating me like a 12-year-old." Well, perhaps Charlie, if you act like a 12 year old, you should be treated like one.....
At some point, Martin will have to deal with Charlie. We don't think he should wait to much longer......
