MTV Star Erica "Rikki" Mongeon Rushed to Hospital After Collision With a Truck

The stars of MTV's "A Double Shot at Love" were involved in a major car crash yesterday that left one girl in a medically induced coma.
Erica "Rikki" Mongeon and Victoria "Vikki" Mongeon were passengers in a VW Jetta traveling through Bakersfield, CA at around 12:20 AM local time Tuesday when their car collided with a semi-truck.
We're told Vikki and the Jetta driver were not seriously injured however Rikki was rushed to the intensive care unit at a local hospital.
According to their manager, Rikki is now imedically induced coma. Doctors are optimistic about Rikki's recovery.
UPDATE: 6:00pm  Sources say Rikki's sister, Vikki, felt a bump on Rikki's head and they decided it would be a good idea to have it looked at.
When they got to the hospital, we're told doctors performed a CAT scan and found blood on her brain. They decided to immediately put Rikki into a medically induced coma.
Rikki is currently in ICU and we're told the plan is to take her out of the coma on Friday.  Rikki's manager says doctors are optimistic.

UPDATE:  Erica "Rikki" Mongeon is finally starting to show signs of improvement after an accident last week left her in a medically induced coma.

Mongeon's manager says her eyes are open and she's responsive. Doctors have reduced Erica's medication and replaced her breathing tube with an oxygen mask, all good signs.
