Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's secret dates in Italy

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt used to enjoy secret dates in Venice without their children when they lived in the Italian city.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt often snuck off for late night dates when she was filming in Venice.
The Hollywood couple relocated to the Italian city with their six children - kids Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, five, Shiloh, four and twins Knox and Vivienne, two - while the actress shot 'The Tourist' and the whole family loved the experience.
She said: "We went to the museums and got our Sunday breakfasts at this great place we found. We all used to sneak out and go through the cobblestone streets or get on the boats and go to the park.
"There's great places to play football and amazing restaurants in the middle of the night for mom and dad to sneak out in our big plastic boots and wade through the water."
Angelina loved working with Johnny Depp - who has kids Lily-Rose, 11, and Jack, eight, with partner Vanessa Paradis - on the movie but was surprised by his many talents.
She explained in an interview with the Daily Record newspaper: "I think what surprised me was that he was as wonderful as I wished he would be. You just never know when you meet somebody and when I met him, he was even cooler and even more interesting.
"He's a Renaissance Man, he can paint, he can do music, he's one of those wonderful artists."
