Car Crash on Former President Bush's Lawn

Police and security agents were scrambled when a driver crashed onto the front lawn of former President George W. Bush's home near Dallas.

A spokesman  for the Secret Service, Ed Donovan said a single-car accident happened Wednesday, and neither former President Bush or his wife were injured. He said there was no reported damage to their house.
Donovan says the driver, who had been visiting one of Bush's neighbors was questioned but released after the accident.  The incident is being investigated by Dallas police.  The The former President and wife Laura live in a gated community in North Dallas.
David Sherzer, a spokesman for the Bushes said the couple were home but never in danger.
