Pee-wee Herman Show Returns To HBO

PEE-WEE HERMAN, the comic creation of actor PAUL REUBENS, will to return to HBO, 30 years after he first appeared on the network. 'The Pee-Wee Herman Show', currently running on Broadway, will be broadcast as a television 'special' in January 2011, HBO has confirmed.  The current Broadway show is based on Herman's original stage show as well as his EMMY AWARD winning morning show 'Pee-Wee's Playhouse'. Filming of the show, which stars JESSE GARCIA, JOSH MEYERS and LYNNE MARIE STEWART, will begin immediately after its run at the Stephen Sondheim theatre.
