Oscar winning actor Anthony Hopkins who's hoping to play legendary film maker Alfred Hitchcock on film, made an outrageous claim!
“I can’t do anything but act. I stumbled into the profession 55 years ago. I’m careless. I go astray. Misplace things. As an impractical kid I was hopeless. I’d do odd jobs. If I weren’t an actor I’d be a burglar or seafarer.”
The 73-year-old Hopkins who's been attached to the project now for four years says he hopes that the project comes to fruition, adding that, in Hollywood today, "you just turn it over and go with whatever happens if you are lucky."
On Hitchcock, Anthony Hopkins says, (he was) "a very interesting man, very strange guy, very dark man." Hopkins says that 50 years ago he saw a film about the making of "Psycho" that stuck with him as "the most frightening film I have ever seen."
He says British director Sacha Gervasi is set to direct the Hitchcock film.
Aren't we all lucky Anthony became an actor and seriously who better than Anthony Hopkins to play Hitchcock?!
