But these are modern times, and soon-to-be princess Kate Middleton has just celebrated her 29th birthday. Many criticisms and compliments have already been made about the young woman's wardrobe, but as she secures her place in the spotlight and gains entry into the royal family by marrying Prince William, scrutiny about her fashion choices will only become more prevalent. For example, critics knocked Middleton for wearing this sheer blouse to a weekend wedding.
