"NBC is doing everything they can to convince [Meredith] to stay," a source familiar
with Vieira's contract discussions tells TV Guide. NBC, for the record, remained tight-lipped, saying only: "The Today show anchors are currently under contract and firmly in place."Within days of each other both Katie Couric and Meredith Vieira may have a new post by next year. Could Meredith Vieira be in talks to possibly replace Katie Couric again?
