In an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, Brad Pitt admitted that he is ready to quit acting by the age of 50 (he's 47 now). "[I will in] three years," he said. "I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together. And getting stories to the plate that might have had a tougher times otherwise."

As 60 Minutes correspondent Tara Brown says in the piece, Pitt seems "fed up with stardom." That's not very surprising, considering he and Angelina Jolie, along with their six children, are constantly under the tabloid microscope. (You can draw the conclusion that, ultimately, Pitt is making this decision for his kids. He even says that he and Jolie "may not be finished" with having children.)

So, will more children and less acting make him happier? Pitt doesn't think of it in those terms: "I think happiness is overrated, truthfully. I do. I think sometimes you're happy, sometimes you're not. There's too much pressure to be happy. I don't know. I don't really give a sh-t."

If Pitt does end up quitting acting by age 50, could his last film end up being 'World War Z'? The zombie apacolypse film is scheduled for a Dec. 21, 2012 release date -- three days after he turns 49.
