Quentin Tarantino having a "blast" on the California set of "Django Unchained."
Quentin Tarantino isn't the only one having a "blast" on the California set of "Django Unchained." It seems Tarantino's Western even has fans from as far-away as Deadwood, South Dakota. Actor Garret Dillahunt recently tweeted pictures from the Melody Ranch set of "Django," which showed a long, empty street in a no-name Western town, filled with wood buildings and -- we presume -- a saloon with swinging doors that stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx will be able to smash through. For those who have been following the film closely, you might be asking yourselves, "When did Garrett Dillahunt sign on to 'Django'?" Unfortunately, he did not. Despite Tarantino's wide-ranging cast (DiCaprio, Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, Kerry Washington, Kurt Russell, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a whole bunch of other people), Dillahunt was there taking pictures due to his role on the now cancelled TV series "Deadwood." Apparently, the set of the HBO show is the same one being used for Quentin's film. "Visited the set of Django Unchained today....it looked familiar," tweeted Dillahunt, adding that "It'll always be #Deadwood to me."
