George Clooney's recent arrest has had his name on the tip of everyone's tongues as of late. TMZ reports that the infamous first call from jail was to his mother.
Some may have thought it would have been Clooney's girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, or perhaps his lawyer, publicist or manager; but according to the the good-humored actor, he called the other leading lady in his life.
When a TMZ reporter asked who got the call, Clooney chuckled and responded, "My mom. Something never changes."
The 50-year-old actor found himself behind bars Friday, along with his father and other former members of Congress, after they crossed police lines at the Sudanese Embassy protesting the humanitarian crisis in Sudan. Though Clooney found the experience of being arrested "humiliating," as he told NBC's Ann Curry, he seems to have kept a good sense of humor about it saying, "It was really rough, you can imagine."
Clooney was released later that same afternoon after paying a $100 fine.
