Robin Gibb recovering after 10 days in a coma

62-year-old Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb is learning how to walk again after spending upwards of 10 days in a coma. The musical icon fell into a coma after a harrowing bout with both colon and liver cancer as well as pneumonia, which left many thinking he had only days left to live. After pulling through, Gibb still has to overcome his atrophied muscles, which have made it difficult for him to walk and to eat.

"He can't wait to go out into the garden with our dogs, Ollie and Missie," Gibb's wife told the magazine Hello!. "But it's going to be a long time before he's strong enough to do that.

"After being fed through a drip and lying in the same position for days, he has to learn to eat and walk again. We know he's very strong, though -- he has faced death and conquered it."

We wish Gibb the all the best.
