Celebrity Feuds

Kevin Costner v. Stephen Baldwin - Sure, Kevin Costner visited the small screen on the History Channel’s version of the Hatfield & McCoy feud, but he’s been involved in a more recent feud of his own. Stephen Baldwin, of the famous Baldwin clan, claims “Dances With My Money” Costner misled him into selling his shares of an oil extractor device while a deal to sell them to BP was in the works. They are currently duking it out in a New Orleans federal court.
Kelly Osbourne v. Christina Aguilera - A woman’s weight is a woman’s Achilles’ heel. Seems back in the day, the former Mouseketeer Aguilera wasn’t so nice to bat-eating Ozzy's daugher, and called her fat. Fast forward to 2011. Aguilera is a little thicker, and Kelly, going in for the kill with a verbal arrow, called her “a fat b**ch.”  Too bad for us, Osbourne called an end to the feud in a column about body image she wrote for “Glamour” magazine. Good thing, though; all of that fighting can work up a big appetite.
Lady Gaga v. Madonna - An aging star and a young star. Same kind of music. Like the movie “Highlander,” there can be only one. Gaga, famous for her outlandish outfits, said she was heavily influenced by the music of Madonna and wrote a song called “Born this Way.” Not a believer that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Madonna dissed the song and called Gaga’s music “reductive.” Most recently, while performing “Express Yourself” (which included a sampling of Gaga’s “Born This Way”
Chelsea Handler v. Angelina Jolie - Don’t get in the way of besties. Chelsea Handler, of “Chelsea Lately,” is best friends with Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt's former gal. Now of course, Brad is with Angelina and...who really cares? Basically, Chelsea doesn’t like the man-stealing Angelina. No word from Angelina on whether or not she gives a damn either.
Gabriel Aubry v. Halle Berry - Break-ups are rarely pretty. And it’s no different with Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry and her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry. Stuck in the middle is their 4-year-old daughter, Nahla, a pawn in an ugly custody battle.
Chuck Lorre v. Charlie Sheen - Who knows why and who knows how, but we watched “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen and the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, go at it like wildcats. While Ashton Kutcher replaced Charlie this season, Charlie is getting a second shot in the TV spotlight with his show, “Anger Management,” premiering in late June on the cable channel FX.
Mel Gibson v. Joe Eszterhas - Gibson, already trying to repair his image in Hollywood, wasn’t helped when the religious project he was working on with Joe Eszterhas (“Showgirls,” “Basic Instinct”) went kaput. Joe wrote a long letter detailing Mel’s rants, slinging accusations of anti-Semitism and violent outbursts. Gibson released his own memo saying the great majority of Joe’s accusations were utter fabrications. Joe then released a tape online of Mel’s rant during a dinner at Mel’s Costa Rican estate.
Courtney Love v. Everyone - Lily Allen. Kelly Osbourne. Even the Muppets. All are targets of Courtney’s wrath. Her most recent feud was with Dave Grohl when she asserted that he was trying to hit on Courtney’s daughter, Francis Bean. Grohl denied it, basically retorting that Courtney was coo-coo for cocoa puffs. Sadly, the biggest loser in this whole charade is Francis Bean, who is remarkably normal in light of her mother’s penchant for drama.
Chevy Chase v. Dan Harmon- According to Deadline.com, Chevy Chase walked out on the last day of filming his scenes for the NBC show, “Community.” Dan Harmon, the executive producer and creator, took it upon himself at the wrap party to get up in front of everyone and give a big “F-you” speech to Chevy. Chevy didn’t take it lightly and left a harsh message on Dan’s phone, a message which was leaked on the Internet. Maybe Chevy had the last word, as Dan Harmon is not returning as El Jeffe next year.
Matthew Fox v. Dominic Monaghan - Matthew Fox of “Lost” fame and DUI infamy, has been accused by his ex-costar, Dominic Monaghan, of beating women. The rumble took place not in the street, but over Twitter, when Monaghan was replying to a fan. Guess you can sling a lot of guff in under 140 characters.
