He may not wear snappy suspenders or sport wide-rimmed spectacles, but according to reports, Piers Morgan is the man poised to fill Larry King's shoes.
Both the New York Times and TheWrap.com reported on Tuesday that the British former tabloid editor is inches away from taking over the 9 PM talk show time slot on CNN when Larry King leaves his "Larry King Live" show this fall, after 25 years on the air.

Andrew Koenig's Parents, Why They Bailed on the Interview
Andrew Koenig's parents claim they asked camera people to leave last night because they felt the Larry King Live show was being "disrespectful" by pushing back their live interview several times on last night's show. According to Walter Koenig they felt Larry did not give them "enough time to do credit to what we they had to say."
The Koenigs were supposed to do an interview from the Vancouver hotel room where they've been staying, while continuing to search for their missing son.
Apparently the Koenigs were told they were supposed to go live at 6:30 PM PST but the interview was pushed back after Larry King Live show decided to cover the breaking SeaWorld whale tragedy.
At about 6:55, after looking at his watch several times, Walter and his wife walked into the bedroom and asked the crew to leave.
Walter told us, "We felt it was disrespectful."
