Carrie Fisher Says John Travolta is Gay

John Travolta and Carrie Fisher are in the news today, but it is not for any potential remakes of "Grease" or "Star Wars." Instead the topic has come back to Travolta's true sexuality as her interview with "The Advocate" gets pretty revealing as ThirdAge.com reports.
When asked about her friendship with Travolta and his recent move toward suing individuals, who've made accusations that he cheated on wife Kelly Preston with as many as six different men throughout their marriage, Fisher had this to say:
"Wow! I mean, my feeling about John has always been that we know and we don’t care. Look, I’m sorry that he’s uncomfortable with it, and that’s all I can say. It only draws more attention to it when you make that kind of legal fuss. Just leave it be."
Fisher would not elaborate on how she knows that Travolta is gay, and it is the lack of detail and respect she gives to the situation that have many outside Hollywood believing at long last that the former "Saturday Night Fever" star is, in fact, a homosexual.
Carrie Fisher knows a thing or two about gay men, too. Growing up in showbusiness around mother Debbie Reynolds, she admits that she always had a crush on the gay male dancers. She said that they had an interest in her, too. Fisher also lost her first husband to another man.
John Joseph Travolta (born February 18, 1954) is an American actor, dancer and singer. He first became known in the 1970s, after appearing on the television series Welcome Back, Kotter and starring in the box office successes Saturday Night Fever and Grease. Travolta's career re-surged in the 1990s, with his role in Pulp Fiction, and he has since continued starring in Hollywood films, including Face/Off, Ladder 49 and Wild Hogs.
Travolta has twice been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor. The first, for his role in Saturday Night Fever and the second for Pulp Fiction. He won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his performance in Get Shorty.
Do you feel as though John Travolta has finally been "outed"? If so, was Carrie Fisher right or wrong to take this step for him? Vote today..
