Josh Rendon and wife Ebony Jackson-Rendon appeared as if they were getting their lives together at the end of their episode of "16 and Pregnant" during season one. The young man had graduated high school and was heading off to the Air Force. But now it seems things have hit a major snag.
A source told the website that DCFS got involved after it inspected the family's home after receiving a complaint about the living conditions. It was reported to TMZ that the house was infested with maggots, but according to the police report obtained by the website, it was much worse than just dirty.Apparently on Tuesday night, the Division of Children and Family Services of Arkansas took away little 2-year-old Jocelyn from her young parents. The two were also arrested.
The arrest report noted "deplorable living conditions" at the home on the Little Rock Air Force Base. "Every room inside the residence had human and dog feces on the floors, walls, and clothing," the report stated. "The house was full of flies and in some areas, maggots. Animal control was called to retrieve three dogs that had been inside the house."
According to the report, the two young parents were charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug premise, unauthorized use of another's property to facilitate a crime and possession of a controlled substance (synthetic marijuana).
Josh Rendon reportedly stated that "It was fair for them to charge us," (Our house) wasn't clean."
