Ted Haggard, former president of National Evangelical Assoc. to appear on Celebrity Wife Swap

It was confirmed today that Pastor Ted Haggard, the former president of the National Evangelical Association, is set to appear on the spin-off series "Celebrity Wife Swap" with his wife, Gayle.  Haggard admitted in 2006 that he was"guilty of sexual immorality"after a man claimed to have engaged in drug-fueled homosexual activities with him. Haggard also admitted to paying a man in Denver for a massage and meth, but claimed he neither had sex with the man or used the drug.
According to newspaper reports, Haggard will be swapping wives with actor Gary Busey. Sources told the paper that the show is set to begin filming tomorrow at the GLBT Pride Center in Colorado.
In the original "Wife Swap," two families -- often with opposite lifestyles and beliefs -- will swap wives for two weeks. For the first week, the wives -- in their new homes -- will follow the rules of the household as set forth by the resident wife. The following week, the visiting wife shakes things up by doing things her way, and the family she is staying with must follow her rules. The women stay in the homes as guests and do not share the beds of the husbands.
Busey, who is twice divorced, isn't currently married, but has a young child with girlfriend Steffanie Sampson.  It is still unknown if Sampson would be the one participating.
