Donny and Marie Osmond to Return to Vegas

According to the Las Vegas Sun,  Donny and  Osmond will resume their Las Vegas show next Tuesday, the day after the funeral for Marie's son Michael Blosil.  The Sun reports that Marie is eager to get back on stage. Her Vegas manager says she finds the process "cathartic." The duo will also perform from April 13-17th to make up for the six shows they canceled after Michael's suicide.

Friends Of Marie Osmond's Son Say He Was Clean, Sober

Marie Osmond's son, Michael Blosil, was clean and sober around the time of his death, this according to friends and roommates who spoke with police.

It had been widely reported that Michael checked into rehab back in 2007 -- but law enforcement sources told TMZ that Michael's friends and roommates claim he was clean around the time of his death.
Sources told TMZ that friends and roommates told law enforcement he had attempted to take his life once before and had been struggling recently.

The L.A. Coroner's Office is anticipating conducting an autopsy tomorrow on the body of Michael Blosil, Marie Osmond's son, reports TMZ.

The LAPD has launched a death investigation into the suicide of Marie Osmond's son, Michael Blosil.
The case will now get turned over to the coroner.  If there is any evidence of foul play, it will turn into a homicide investigation.
Paramedics responded to the call just before 9:30 PM last night. 911 calls indicated someone had fallen.

Marie Osmond and Family Devastated Over Son's Suicide

A representative  for Marie Osmond just released this statement on Marie's behalf:

"My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time."

Marie's son, Michael Blosil, was found dead this morning after he jumped off his apartment building in downtown Los Angeles.

Update: Donny and Marie canceled their show in Las Vegas tonight.

Marie Osmonds's Son Commit Suicide

Marie Osmond's teenage son committed suicide last night, this according to Entertainment Tonight.
Michael Blosil, one of Osmond's eight children, reportedly jumped from his downtown Los Angeles apartment building.
ET says Michael left behind a note that said he intended to commit suicide due to a life-long battle with depression.

Donny Osmond released a statement that says: "Please pray for my sister and her family."
