Friends Of Marie Osmond's Son Say He Was Clean, Sober

Marie Osmond's son, Michael Blosil, was clean and sober around the time of his death, this according to friends and roommates who spoke with police.

It had been widely reported that Michael checked into rehab back in 2007 -- but law enforcement sources told TMZ that Michael's friends and roommates claim he was clean around the time of his death.
Sources told TMZ that friends and roommates told law enforcement he had attempted to take his life once before and had been struggling recently.

Marie Osmond's Son - Michael Blosil - Autopsy Sunday

The L.A. Coroner's Office is anticipating conducting an autopsy tomorrow on the body of Michael Blosil, Marie Osmond's son, reports TMZ.

Marie Osmond and Family Devastated Over Son's Suicide

A representative  for Marie Osmond just released this statement on Marie's behalf:

"My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time."

Marie's son, Michael Blosil, was found dead this morning after he jumped off his apartment building in downtown Los Angeles.

Marie Osmonds's Son Commit Suicide

Marie Osmond's teenage son committed suicide last night, this according to Entertainment Tonight.
Michael Blosil, one of Osmond's eight children, reportedly jumped from his downtown Los Angeles apartment building.
ET says Michael left behind a note that said he intended to commit suicide due to a life-long battle with depression.

Donny Osmond released a statement that says: "Please pray for my sister and her family."
